A Time to Build Up

As part of the “A Time to Build Up” capital appeal, Atonement will be hosting several social events. We will join together in fellowship and fun and spend some time learning about the future plans for our church. We want everyone to participate in at least one of these events.  Sign up in the gathering place!

Who What Where When Contact Person
Adults A Yankee Wine Tasting Party:  Here's the scoop, please bring 2 bottles of wine per couple.  The bottles are to be wrapped identically, but the catch is you need to be able to open and pour one of your creations - its twin will be set aside.  Everyone will be able to taste the mystery wines and keep track of their favorite.  Later, after a little wine consumption, we’ll pick and steal so that every couple goes home with one of the wrapped bottles of wine.   Sound like fun?  Join us for our wine tasting and information meeting.  Huldin's Home Friday, Feb 1, 7pm  Huldin's
All Ages Kick off Sunday  Atonement Sunday, Feb 3 - All Services
Senior Adults Afternoon Tea:  A mid-afternoon snack of tea sandwiches, dainty desserts, fruit and beverages of tea and punch. A must for those who do not like to travel at night. To be held in the Gathering Place at 2:30. Loving hands are preparing the food.  Atonement Thursday, Feb 7, 2:30-4pm  Elms'
All Ages Western Night:   Grab your cowboy boots and get ready to “swing your partner round and round”!  Lots of fun awaits you at the Atonement Corral.  The whole family will enjoy friendship and fun as we square dance under the direction of a professional caller.  No square dancing experience is necessary.  Snacks and drinks will be served.  Vehe Farm Saturday, Feb 9, 7-10pm  Huldin's
All Ages Sledding/Chili Cook off:  Nothing beats warming up by the fire with a warm bowl of chili after an afternoon of sledding. You can do both at this great event! Bring your very best batch of chili to compete for the Atonement Chili Championship (or just show up and eat!)   Kids of all ages are invited to participate.  Chia's Home Sunday, Feb 17, 2-6pm  Chia's
