A Respect for each child as a unique creation of God is at
the core of the curriculum. A professional and dedicated staff models the
love of Jesus and shares his vision of peace, joy and community. Through
prayer, Bible Stories, religious songs service projects and discussion,
children learn fundamental Christian values. A core curriculum of Jolly
Phonics and the Letter People with use of basic materials (e.g. blocks, paint,
clay, sand and water) and learning centers (e.g. dramatic play, science, literature
and art) are carefully and creatively utilized by our team of teachers in
planning a challenging and stimulating experience for each child. Play,
setting the stage for learning, provides a medium through which children may
imitate, explore, test ideas, acquire information, and draw conclusions.
Further, it is the goal of the staff to provide a safe and comfortable
environment for each child, which enhances self-esteem and personal growth
through positive social interactions.
