Our women's Bible study group is made up of women young and old, single and married, new mothers and grandmothers. We have a mix of Atonement members and women from other congregations in the area. Women's Bible Study is a time for us to gather each week, share conversation, support one another in our faith journeys, and learn how God's Word speaks into our lives.

Lutheranism 101
Meets Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:30am when KEFA is in session.
This class (also know as the Book of Concord classes on the web calendar) is open to all adults and is held in classroom 13 in the lower level of the new ministry wing. It has been running since January 2011 and, due to its popular success, it will continue indefinitely, following the regular school schedule. New members are welcome to join at any time.
Peter Johnson and Julie Thomson are the presenters and are leading the class through the basics of the Lutheran faith by reading and discussing The Book of Concord. You can learn more about Martin Luther’s Catechisms and the Lutheran Confessions by attending this informative class.
This is a refresher course for some who are lifelong Lutherans, and new material for others. It is an opportunity to read source material from a new perspective and examine one’s personal beliefs in in a friendly setting and fellowship with lay friends and neighbors.
Please come with your own copy of the Bible and The Book of Concord (available at bookstores and on line).

Crossways Bible Study
Meets Sunday mornings at either the 9:15 am hour or at 10:45 am or Monday nights at the church from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm - Began October 2nd
It's a fact that one of the best ways to get to know God and move closer in your relationship to Jesus Christ is to improve your Biblical fluency—the study of God's Word. Reading scripture on a daily basis certainly helps, but we can help you even more by offering classes to understand how His message applies to each of us.
Well, we’ve gone long, now we’re going deep with Crossways! Last fall, we read the Bible in 90 Days which gave us a broad overview of God’s story for our lives. This fall, we begin the Crossways two-year journey (30 weeks per year) that will go much deeper into the scriptures and their meaning for us. Offered in three 10-session increments each year, you may sign up for the whole course (the best option) or session by session. No need to worry about missing sessions, we'll have DVDs that you can sign out to help you keep up. Cost: $70 for entire two-year course or $12 per each 10-week session. Bring your own Bible. Classes began Sunday, October 2 and are offered Sundays at 9:15 or 10:45 am and Monday evenings at 7 pm. Join at any time.
