This board provides all that is necessary for worship services. The Board of Worship and Music established this committee to convey the Christian message through visual and artistic elements in the congregation's worship space and the Gathering Place. The group works to ensure an attractive environment in these areas that is welcoming and inspirational for members and visitors.

- Acolytes. Confirmation program students are required to participate as acolytes at worship services. Duties include lighting and extinguishing candles and assisting in communion. Students are trained and serve approximately four times per year as scheduled by the coordinator.
- Adult Handbell Choir. This group rehearses weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. from September through the end of May. They participate about once a month in worship services and also in special services.
- Altar Care. Members of this group prepare the chancel for worship, communion and special events. They also care for the altar linens. Schedules for service are determined by members of the group.
- Assisting Ministers. They assist at services by helping distribute communion, reading the lessons, and offering prayers. They may choose to do any or all of the above and may serve as often as they wish. Training is available.
- Atonement Singers. The choir is open to everyone who wants to help lead the congregation in singing. There are no auditions and it is not necessary to be able to read music. You just need to love to sing and to have a heart. They sing at either the 8:00 or 9:15 service, and sometimes at both. They also sing at special services scheduled during the church year such as Thanksgiving, Advent, Lent, etc. For rehearsal times, see the church bulletin.
- Atonement Worship Team. These teams lead worship at the 10:45 am contemporary service. The teams include people of all ages who have gifts in music, multi-media presentations, and drama. There are currently three music teams that include vocalists and musicians that play guitar, bass, drum, and keyboard. The teams serve on a three week rotational basis and practice either at 7 pm on Tuesday or 1 pm on Saturday depending on the team.
- High School Handbell Choir. High School students practice on Sunday afternoons from 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm. They play occasionally at worship services.
- Instrumentalists. Instrumental musicians of all ages who wish to offer their gifts on an occasional basis are part of this group. Rehearsals are called as needed.
- Laundering Robes. The robes which Worship Assistants wear need to be laundered periodically. This is a very easy job, the robes can be washed in your home washing machine and need little or no pressing.
- Middle School Handbell Choir. This choir is for young people in grades 6 through 8. The choir plays occasionally at worship services.
- Projection Team. Hymns, lessons, and responses are projected for the congregation during worship service. This team inputs the data into the computer and runs the system during the services.
-
Ushers. Ushers are scheduled to serve a month at a time and may serve as many months as they wish. They arrive half an hour before service time, greet people as they enter the sanctuary, distribute bulletins and assist members and visitors as needed. They collect the offering and guide the congregation to the altar for communion.
-
Wedding Coordinator. The coordinator works with couples and families to prepare for the logistics of weddings at Atonement. This includes being present during weddings.
-
