Flyer Distribution – Deliver Community Meal flyers once a month to local food banks, businesses, etc. 1-2 people – 500 flyers
Signage Set Up – Deliver Community Meal sign to the hosting church and set up. 2-3 people needed and a larger vehicle for transporting.
Supplies Delivery – Pick up needed supplies from Atonement and deliver to hosting church one or two days prior to the event. Bins are located in the closet at Atonement. Keys will be provided. 1-2 people with a larger vehicle.
Pasta Prep – Make 1-5 pounds of pasta one day prior to the event. Place in a plastic bag with a small amount of oil.
Set Up – Arrive at 3:30 pm the date of the event. Start pasta preparation, set up roaster, set up buffet dishes and dessert table, cut bread, salad prep, table decorations, and make beverages. The hosting church may perform some or all of these duties.
Counter - Count the amount of guests at each event and report that number to Mary Hasse.
Serving – Serve pasta and sauce to guests. Direct them to salad and dessert areas. Replenish food supplies as needed. Clear plates and assist guests to tables as needed. The hosting church may perform some or all of these duties
Greeters – Greet guests at the door and direct them to the eating area. Join guests at dinner and make them feel welcome. Update them on the next meal date and find out where they heard about the meal.
Clean Up – Clear tables, wash and dry dishes when necessary, return supplies to the Atonement closet, dump trash and general kitchen clean up.
